Understanding Funerals
A funeral is for those who are living. It is a celebration and thanksgiving of the life of the loved one who has passed away. Everyone who has been touched by the life of the deceased is given the opportunity to share in that celebration, and say their farewell.
A funeral allows family and friends to share their memories of a loved one, to laugh and cry together and provide vital support to each other in their grief. It allows time to pay last respects. For this reason we listen carefully so we can make the arrangements appear simple. We will cover every detail that our clients specify – from celebrant, flowers and newspaper notices, to catering, service sheets and audio–visual components. Through listening we relieve the stresses associated with managing the details of a funeral.
